Hi there!

We’re Emma and Úna, a couple from Ireland. Back in August 2022, we both left our full-time jobs in Dublin to pursue a few months of travel. Soon we figured out we could make our money stretch a lot further than we initially thought.

We created Backpackhers to share our own knowledge and experiences of travel. Get started on planning our adventure today!

What our past guests say

"The connections and friendships I made during the week were an unexpected bonus, so many laughs were had and many beautiful memories were created. An unforgettable experience!"

"The attention to detail, and making everyone feel included was like nothing I've seen before. I've truly come away with friends for life, and with people I would never have crossed paths with."
Emily O'Gorman
Camino de Santiago Trip
"Emma and Úna were incredibly supportive throughout the journey, and every detail was planned to perfection. They were always ready to answer any questions, which made me feel fully comfortable, even as someone who had never done anything like this before."

"I would recommend this trip to anyone who would like to try something different, would like do something new or is interested in future solo travel but isn't quite there yet!"

Interested in travel but don't know where to start?

We understand that not everyone is comfortable just booking a flight, packing a bag and jetting off. Also, it can be much more fun when there’s others to share the memories with.

This is why we are planning to run community trips starting in Spring/Summer 2024. Our first trip is the famous Camino de Santiago in Spain. We’ve got everything you need to know about this trip if you click below.

we'd love to hear from you
